Winged Embrace

Me entry for 's contest. Whew, this was a lot of work. I found out about the contest about a week ago, really wish I had known earlier. So I spent a day looking through the refs for who I could draw and both Miz and Exiel popped out at me, then to find out they were mates, well that was just perfect. Unfortunately, now looking through the other entries, they're a popular theme, oh well, I'm still really proud of it; I leaned a lot doing this piece, tried a new style of shading, lots of fun stuff (though it almost killed me getting it done on time, 2 nights of solid work! probably 15-20 hours, yeah, I'm slow). So I know it'll be VERY tough to win, considering all the beautiful entries, I would really like to at least place, but if not, at least I took a lot out of doing this piece!!
