Hey Guys, not a whole lot to talk about, just wanted to update my journal again with my pretty blue one!

I did get a chance to go to Jungle Cat World in th beginning of this month and met up with which was really cool! I had such an amazing time there, I got to do things I thought I could only dream about!! I was very lucky and feel even better that the donation goes toward the WWF. I WILL be visiting again!

I have a few more ideas drawn up for my 100 Animal Challenge, but it'll be slot going. I've got to get all my ref sheets out of he way before I start something big again. Plus, I'm working on a more simple style that hopefully I can offer really cheap, small icon commissions.

So I finally finished my Big 5 picture, I feel very relieved as it was sitting open in photoshop for months, though I'm also a little disappointed with the final product; not sure why.

Next up on the chopping block:
Get some decent refs done mostly Io - in her various forms to start.
I hope to get some anthros out there. I've always been scared of drawing them b/c my human anatomy sucks, but I think it's time to learn! I have some neat sketches doodled up.

100 animal challenge


No, I'm not holding one, probably never will again (though I'd love to do a collab with someone) but I'm interested in whose throwing them. I do enjoy joining them, even though I really don't need more excuses to prolong doing my own art. So does anyone know of some neat contests going on? I won't guarantee I'll join, but if there's an interesting topic, or a unique prize, there's a good chance I'll join!


Eventually I'd like to produce my own with my good friend but for now I'm looking to do a collab with someone on a smaller scale, or maybe help out on an ongoing comic? Just to get a feel of it. Again, not sure if I'll go through with this, but I thought I'd put it out there, see if there's any interest.


I know there's a lot of stock image pages dedicated to different things. As far as I know there's not a decent canine reference one (though to be honest I haven't looked in over a year). Is there anyone interested in starting one up?? It'd just be a collection of photos from who wants to joining of different breeds and species of Canine. Anyone with previous experience with clubs and pages like these would be a great deal help!

Hey guys, I know it's been a while, but I come baring some neat little trinkets!! First off, a HUGE thank you to she sent me these claws as a part of my prize from her contest, and she was VERY generous!! So I decided to try something new with them. I have to say, I had a TON of fun doing these and if there is a high interest in them, I MAY continue to make them, providing I can find a supplier of parts.

In that note, these animals were NOT killed for their claws or fur. They either died of natural causes or were culled for conservation reasons. If there are any questions, you'd probably get better answers from MorRokko, as she sent them to me.
