Just thought this may be helpful to some. Took this photo during one of my Ornithology labs!

Curious as to what these parts are?: [link]

Big bang, big crunch,
you know there's no free lunch
Kneel down and pray,
here comes your judgment day
Big crunch, you know it's going to be quite a show
What goes around always comes around

Ornithology labs, huh?

What is it that you study? Wow! XD I'm a keen amateur ornithologist, I love bird watching, and I'm also a bio-scientist in the making, so I'm quite intrigued! Is it zoology or some such thing? Wow ^___^

And thank you for taking this photo! This could definitely come in handy! Wings are not my strong point, if ever I had a strong point! lol XD

Next time I draw wings on something, I'll reference this picture ^_^

ornithology was so much fun. You study mounts and skeletons of MANY different birds, also you leanr to fnid out what Order the belong to based on their features (like the scales on their feet, their claws, their beaks, feather arrangment, etc) and you do actually go out for a few labs, bid-watching, trying to identify pecies in your area.
And yes, it was a course I took as my whole major which is indeed Zoology, and I LOVED it. You take other courses like Mammolgy (my fav) herpethology (reptiles and amphibians), icthyology (fish, although I didn't take this one), Animal Behaviour, as well as ecology courses, conservation courses Comparitive animal physiology courses, and so many others.
I'm glad this will help, that's waht it's there for b/c I haven't seen too many refs out there myself (but then again, I haven't looked either!)
