I so rarely say this but, Please Fullview
So, this pic has been in the back of my mind for like 6 years now. I thought of it when I did my ISU in OAC (like grade 13 of high school) for my art course. But I decided to change my theme from African to Depression (yeah, big switch, lol, but emotional subjects have more possiblities IMO) This is all painted in PS7, so it took a while but I learned a lot about fur techniques and I have to say I'm quite happy with the outcome, well the fur anyway, little disspointed how the reflection of the lion came out.
And I'm embarassed to say, I'm not sure kind of Bovide that is!
Refs were used, but sadly I can't find the link to the one I used for the Bovide, I do believe its from DA.

would you believe I actually accidentally hit send before I was done typing? XD huzzah. Heres the second half of that:

' --- The entire image brings out more than just 'Fear', perhaps indescribably so- Like a freeze-frame of the literal circle of life, Predator and prey about to engage in that vital dance of life and death. I particularly like the hidden details of the eye, but also the wild, untamed look of the deers fur. The focused, and yet unfocused appearance of the lion really makes it stand out! In all, a wonderfully composed piece. '
